1973 Nova / 1969 Corvette 350

Hi, my name is Matthew Smith I am 16 years old and have a 73' Nova. I would like to tell you about how I got my car. Well, the story behind her is that she was being driven to high school during my older brothers freshmen-senior year. So when I hit 15 my brother showed her to me and told me the car was for sale. I met the guy selling it and jumped on the deal, ending up getting her the next day! I bought my 73' Nova as it is. So I don't have much of a restoration story, But I am doing my best to keep her running great, and to kick all those rice burners off the streets. She is set up with a Holley 650cfm Double Pumper Carb., Edlebrock High Rise Intake Manifold, 3.83 gear ratio, 10 bolt rear posi, a 1962 Corvette 350 engine bored .30 over,  she has Hooker Competition Headers, Dual 2.5 inch exhaust with Flowmasters, Mallory Distributor, Mallory Ignition, K&N Filter, new rear-end, no air or heater, and thats about all i can think of. Best Run on 1/4 mile is a 12 flat 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. Has BF Goodrich Tires bigger in back smaller in front. That's the story on how I got this beautiful car, and the nice setup she carries behind her.

editor's note: It's really great to see pictures being sent to us from such young owners. It gives me the feeling that muscle cars and the rebel attitudes necessary to pilot these cars will be around for a long, long time!
