1970 Torino / 429 Cobra Jet 4 speed
I have a 1970 Ford Torino 429 Cobra Jet. It was put out beside the road I use to get to and from the airport with 4 Sale painted on the window. I couldn't resist. This was my high school dream car, so I talked my wife into letting my buy it for $3500.00. It ran and other than the hail damage and normal rust it was in pretty good shape. I worked on it for a year then took it in for a professional restoration. It went in Sept 9 of 2002 and was completed April 6 of 2003. The engine is extremely strong with a litle higher than original compression. I haven't run it on a track as yet, I'm waiting to put new rear end gears in before I give that a try.
