N.H.R.A. Twilight Cruise / 2002

Wednesday night I shot out to Pomona's Fairplex for the NHRA Twilight Cruise as it came very highly recommended by my friends Jack and Mike, if Mike says it's a good show, it's a good show, and this was a good show! No, excuse me it was a GREAT show! What makes it a great show? Well a lot of hot cars which there were plenty of them, nice weather, it was a beautiful night and last but not least, the owners. I can't say enough about the people I met here. It's really funny living in LA you normally don't walk up to someone you don't know and strike up a conversation, but it's really great how there's such a feeling of common brotherhood with automobile people. Everywhere you look people are talking, laughing, telling their history to people they've just met that day! I grew up in Illinois so I've always been very outgoing especially meeting new people, and this show I met a lot of people, cool people, quality people like Don, Gary, Dan my friends Mike & Jack and many others that I forgot to write down (Bob's in Boston, Bob's the camera & sound man so I did this one solo, a lot easier with Bob!) Well enjoy as I got some great cars with a couple of hot sounds sprinkled in there.
